With older homes and homes exposed to high winds, such as coastal or elevated regions of North Wales, it is a wise decision to have the property’s roof checked for structural integrity before buying or renting. Fully insured for liability, Elwy Roofing will conduct a detailed analysis and drone survey of roof and chimney.

Rebuilt chimney stack in Kimnel Bay: This chimney was struck by lightning (storm damage), and was completely destroyed.
We were instructed to rebuild the stack. And two days later the fire 🔥 was back working, ready for Christmas Eve!
Lowering chimney stack in Caergwrle (picture right/below): This project in Flintshire was to lower the chimney sack to a safe level at a primary school.
Work was conducted safely whilst the school was closed and the children were away on their Easter break.
The build is of gothic Victorian architecture and evidently showed why the importance of chimney stacks of this age have timely safety inspections – resulting in urgent necessary maintenance work in order to ensure the building was made safe.
